Darjeeling Margaret's Hope second flush (FTGFOP1), Black tea
This light fruity darjeeling, harvested in the Summer, comes from a tea estate nestled at the foot of the Himalayas (altitude of 915-1830m). The tea garden was known as Bara-Ringtong until 1927 when it was renamed Margaret's Hope. The owner's daughter fell in love with the garden during her visit and promised to visit it again. Unfortunately, Margaret fell ill with a tropical disease and died at whilst returning home. The employees of the garden report that since then the spirit of Margaret has been seen in the garden at dawn.
