Rosebuds' antibacterial properties make them an excellent cure for wounds, bruises, rashes, and incisions. Their anti-inflammatory properties make them an excellent treatment for sore throats and ulcers when taken internally. They have the ability to stimulate the liver, as well as improve appetite and blood circulation.
Rose can also help reduce your body temperature and bring down a fever, as well as cool you down in the heat. As an antispasmodic, it aids in the relief of spasms in the respiratory system (asthma and coughs), the gastrointestinal tract (cramping, constipation), and the muscles (cramps and sports injuries).
Rosebuds are also an emmenagogue, which means they can assist regulate and causes menstrual periods to be delayed (as a caution, avoid taking this herb internally if you are pregnant).
